What does it do?
The purpose of the HiBob integration in Agrello is to allow you to use employee data already present in your HiBob account for generating employment contracts and onboarding documents. Once connected, you can pull employee data to automatically fill in your contract templates, saving time and ensuring accuracy.
How does it work?
It’s actually pretty simple once everything has been set up. Open up a template and you should be able to see a HiBob icon on the left sidebar. Click it open and click on Create from HiBob.
Next you need to:
Pick a an output format
Search for a person *
Pick the person and "Create Contract"
Once you have Created the document, you can review what kind of information was pulled from HiBob and changed if needed. In case the field is empty in HiBob, it will also be empty in Agrello, so data accuracy is critical for efficient automation.
How to set it up?
Setting up the HiBob connector involves these steps:
Step 1 - Activate the account
Once the integrations have been enabled for your account, you need HiBob API credentials. Specifically you need to create a HiBob Service user ID and token.
For that first head over to HiBob Settings and create a Service user. While creating a Service user, you can also define the rights for that particular service user.
Once you have the service member set up with sufficient permissions, head back to Agrello. Under workspace settings you will find a tab for Integrations and under that HiBob. Click configure and fill in the Service User ID and token information you just got from HiBob.
Once done, you should be connected.
Step 2 - Set up the templates
Once the integration is active, any user with editing rights can map templates.
Open your template and click the HiBob icon.
Click 'Field Mappings'.
In the dialog, map your template fields (e.g., Employee Name, Start Date, Salary) to the corresponding fields from HiBob.
Save your mappings to enable automatic data filling for future documents.
