The annexes feature lets you use a pre-signed document as a template for creating a new one. The system extracts data from fields of already signed document and fills in the fields in your template. It works well together with Agrello forms and application, which can be used to collect contract related data.
Pre-requirements
To begin, you’ll need a signed document created from a template. You can use the same template for an annex or a completely different one.
First step
Simply open the “burger” menu from right up corner and find the item “Create Annex”
Second step - pick a template
For creating an annex you can use the same template or completely different one. It does not need to be even in the same folder.
Third step - map the data
In this step the system displays you a pop-up, where you must connect the fields of source document with the new one. If you use the same template as the source file or similar syntax for the fields, system matches them automatically. But you can over rule the mapping any time. Once done, simply click “Create Annex”
NOTE: Although a data mapping step is part of the process, we recommend users begin standardising the syntax for the fields. Using the same syntax across fields allows the system to automatically map data saving you valuable time. |
Fourth Step - Review and send for signing
Now you should have pre-filled document in front of you. Make sure the data is correct and if needed make necessary adjustments or fill in missing data manually. Once done, simply add a signers and send it away for signing.
We hope this helps you to get going. And as usualy, let us know how it’s working for you 😏
